Snowflakes, shot where they land, in their natural surroundings.

Just as every snowflake is unique, so too is how it falls from the sky, and the location where it lands. While I find photographs of snowflakes taken on a microscope slide beautiful and interesting, I also find them disturbingly sterile. In my art I want to show the beauty of snowflakes in nature. They are not all perfect, some get broken on their journey to the ground, some land in the oddest of places. Yet, they are all beautiful and full of wonder. Each snowflake has it's own unique story to tell.
